The Spanish Imposition is the B segment of the fifth episode of Season 3 of Pepper Ann and the fifty-eighth segment overall; it premiered as part of Disney's One Saturday Morning on January 22, 2000.
Summary[]
It's Elective Class Week, and Pepper Ann plans on picking Music Appreciation with Mrs. "Kick" Bach, as the class is little more than a free period with music, but when the coveted class fills up, Pepper Ann is forced to take a class that requires her to actually learn something: Spanish I.
Quotes[]
Pepper Ann: You'd take ditch digging if Señorita Vivas taught it. Milo: Guilty as charged! |
Pepper Ann: I, for one, am not so easily influenced. Nicky: Then why are you dressed exactly like Señorita Vivas? |
Trivia[]
- Pepper Ann attempts to trade a Baggy Bean Buddy with Trinket to get her to swap electives, only for her to respond, "That is so last episode."
- This joke would not make sense assuming you'd watched the episode as it premiered on ABC, as the episode was paired with a different segment. It would not be until the series joined Toon Disney and Disney Channel until the joke would make sense.
- Going by broadcast order, this episode is the first to feature Paddi Edwards as Vera following her death on October 18, 1999; from this episode onwards, she will be credited posthumously, as the entire series had finished voice acting work prior to her passing.
- From this episode-onwards, Mean Girl has a different skin tone.
