- The title of this episode is a twist on the 1939 novel The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
- This episode, along with "Def Comedy Mom" and "Effie Shrugged" are the only episodes post-season 1 to use traditional cel animation. They were also the only episodes of the series to be animated by Hana Animation, instead of the show's primary animation studio, Sunwoo Animation.
