Gwen Mezzrow is a student at Hazelnut Middle School and a recurring character in Pepper Ann.

Gwen is a bubbly, cute girl that Milo can never decide if he likes. Gwen is usually associated with Dieter, though, because she once referred to him as her "real love". While they are often seen together as a couple, it's mainly implied that Dieter has little interest in Gwen. However, she and Milo tend to have alternating crushes on each other and seem to be unable to like each other on the same day.
In "Crush and Burn" Milo becomes upset when he finds out that Gwen has a crush on him. This leads Pepper Ann to suggest that she and Milo pretend to date in order to scare off Gwen. Milo does end up falling for her, but Gwen eventually reveals that her affection towards Milo was to make Dieter jealous, whom himself rejects her advances.
In "The Wash-Out" Gwen gets called out of class by the nurse, and Pepper Ann speculates about the reason behind this and accidentally starts a rumor that Gwen has head lice, resulting in the whole school avoiding her, when in reality, her pet goldfish died.
In "The Finale", Gwen attends the Hazelnut Middle School reunion, where she meets a downtrodden Stewart Walldinger. Gwen, being the only person there who remembers him, admits that she thought that he was cute (not as much as Milo) and asks him out, to which Stewart agrees. Ironically, Stewart himself did not remember Gwen.

Gwen is 12 years old, who has freckles and long blonde hair braided in pigtails. Her usual outfit is consisted of a green shirt (with a yellow oval design) that bares her stomach, a red skirt and pink shoes.
