A Valentine's Day Tune is the eighth episode of Season 4 of Pepper Ann. It originally aired on February 14, 2000.

Summary Edit

Pepper Ann is bitter about Valentine's day, mainly because of incidents involving her parents' divorce. After a bad day at school, she is visited by three Valentine's Day spirits who show her why she hates Valentine's day and what her life will become if she remains cynical towards it.

Quotes Edit

Pepper Ann: What did I ever see in you? You're a boy named Cookie for gosh sake!
Effie Spirit: I said I come from beyond! Does Nicky come from beyond?
Brenda (as Spirit of Valentine's Day Present): Eeeee! Spirit of Valentine's Day Present! Hug!

Pepper Ann: You're the spirit of Valentine's Day Present?
Brenda: I come in the form of your estranged Cubby Camp friend, Brenda. I represent love, happiness, rainbows, hearts, flowers, unicorns, all good things! And then...there's you. You need to turn that frown upside down. Smile! Smile! Smile! Sm-

Pepper Ann: Back off, phantom!
Brenda: Where are you going?
Pepper Ann: Through the wall.

Trivia Edit

  • This episode is an obvious parody of A Christmas Carol, right down to the title.
  • This episode marks the final major appearance of Brenda, though she is seen sitting in the auditorium in "Complimentary Colors".
